How we work
When constructing websites, we work to a structured process, designed to efficiently manage the time of all concerned - yours and ours.
- Client requests website
- Initial interview - objectives established
- Quote submitted; if accepted, contract and terms and conditions signed
- Client discusses/submits site content (wording, etc)
- Content
- Whitesite (plain no-frills site) - created with content
- Client views whitesite and checks content
- If content is correct, client signs off on content; if the client requests changes, these are applied. 2 sets of changes are permitted without further cost.
- Design
- General site template designed
- Client views template with sample content
- If template is acceptable to the client, the client signs off on the design. If changes are requested, these are applied; as with the content, 2 sets of changes are permitted without further cost.
- Final Production
- Site content and templates are combined
- Final review by client - since content and design stages have both been signed off, any further changes will be charged
- Client signs off on final site
- Payment made
- Site delivered by email, web upload, or CD, depending on client request.
Note that we do not host sites ourselves. If you wish us to set up your site on the Internet, some additional charges from third parties apply - typically between £30.00 to £40.00 per annum. We also charge our hourly rate for this service.
